Property Asset Manager

Location: Southern England

Rate of pay: Salary Negotiable + Car or Car Allowance

The Role:

Mainstay Group is an established leading Property Management business head quartered in Worcester. As a result of expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced Property Asset Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. In this newly created home-based role you’ll be covering the South of England area which stretches from London to the Midlands.


  • Carry out property inspections and surveys at client sites
  • Verify property database information through on-site reviews
  • Take responsibility for building presentation standards, identifying improvement needs and managing delivery through the supply chain
  • Provide field support to the Contracts Manager
  • Identify potential Asset enhancement opportunities and support implementation of the same
  • Works and services management and quality inspections
  • Stakeholder engagement – understanding the needs of the buildings and its users
  • Manage building Health, Safety and Statutory M&E compliance
  • Support the Real Estate/Asset management and Client teams in delivering the Property Asset Management Strategy for each site
  • Willingness to travel extensively

Person Specification:

  • Previous Property Management experience
  • Previous experience of carrying out commercial or residential property inspections
  • The ideal candidate is likely to be degree qualified, or hold a relevant vocational qualification
  • Good knowledge of H&S
  • The ability to manage own workload and diary
  • Full awareness of the latest developments in Property Management/FM thinking and understanding of the Property Management/FM market, including new procurement methods, supply chain management, partnering relationships, open book management, and end user self-service.
  • Excellent customer service / client focussed
  • Fully accepting of accountability and comfortable within a full ownership model
  • Unfaltering dedication to deliver on commitments made internally and to customers
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Team Player and ability to work in an environment of collective responsibility
  • IT literate and strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skill
  • The candidate will ideally reside in the business area
  • Full UK Driving Licence
