Calthorpe Estate Scheme

Continued growth as Mainstay take on new Birmingham development

Mainstay Residential has been appointed to manage the Kenilworth Court development in Edgbaston, further expanding its integrated property management (IPM) portfolio and building on a period of sustained growth.

The residential property management arm of multi-award-winning Mainstay Group will be responsible for property and facilities management at the site.

The Kenilworth Court development is situated on the Calthorpe Estate in Edgbaston and boasts local amenities including Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens and the Edgbaston Village, which includes high quality retail, leisure and dining facilities.

Gillian Stanley, area property manager at Mainstay, said: “We are truly excited to be working on such a stunning development packed with history in such a beautiful suburb. We have an incredibly strong team based in the Midlands and I am confident that our unique approach will resonate with Kenilworth Court’s residents.”

The scheme, which was constructed in the 1930’s, is made up of 52 apartments in five blocks. Mainstay was a natural choice as it has an excellent local reputation and already manages a number of Calthorpe Estate properties.

Lenora Darlison from Kenilworth Court RTM Companies said: “We are in the crucial stages of upgrading and restoring our historically beautiful, prestigious property, and are very fortunate to have Mainstay help us through this complex but exciting process.  Considering their vast knowledge and experience in the management of property, we believe that Mainstay will help us bring about the restoration of our wonderful property.”

“We’re excited to build a community at Kenilworth and ensure that residents feel happy, safe and comfortable in this expansive development.”
