Residential Block Management

Mainstay manages in excess of 25,000 residential apartments in schemes ranging from 6 to over 1000 plus units with a diverse range of services including, concierge and site staff, leisure facilities, retail, café bars, business centre, offices, live-work units and guest accommodation.

Clients include most of the top 20 UK developers. In addition we manage for Corporate institutional investors, over 200 Residents Management Companies as well as more than 20 niche/boutique developers.

The residential facilities management market continues to grow rapidly and to become more challenging, particularly in light of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, Health & Safety regulation and the increasing service demands of developers and apartment owners. Mainstay has recognised these issues and has sought to deal with them by tailoring its approach on a property by property basis and seeking to provide an open and informative management style at a price that reflects the level of service on offer.

Mainstay believes that services have to be personalised to reflect leaseholders as customers. A designated and visible senior manager with clear responsibilities is supported by office based management assistants, accountancy, legal and technical expertise.

Mainstay’s underlying approach is to clearly understand its customers’ needs and consequently provide them with the service they require at an appropriate price.
