There are a number of parties currently onsite, all working towards fixing the area of damaged pipe.

At this time we are collating all the information and data and will provide a detailed update later this afternoon.

We thank you again for your patience.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates to our customers via the West Point property page only accessible by our customers.

SUNDAY 6TH MAY 2012 – 2PM WEST POINT UPDATE

At 7.30pm on Saturday 5th May 2012 it was, with regret, agreed by all on site that we would not be able to affect any repair on Saturday, and so a letter was hand delivered to all apartments advising them of this.

Mainstay’s Property Manager and West Point’s Site Manager returned to site on Sunday morning, and were joined by Mainstay’s Head Of Operations for The North Region. We met with an engineer of a National Engineering Company to assess the situation once more, and to establish if ...

Please see below, being an update on the water issue, correct as at 7.30pm tonight, Saturday 5th May 2012.

It is with regret that we have to inform you that a repair of the pipe will not commence this evening. The reason for this is we are unable to source the required parts in order to commence corrective works. We have sought the help of National Engineering Companies too, but at this moment in time parts are not available.

A number of you will have received a note under your door this morning advising you that water was being reinstated to the building and that water would soon return to your apartment.

You will now have noticed that water has, once more, been interrupted. The water supply was reinstated at 10am this morning, and pressure was gradually being built up. UK FLOOD WARNINGS FROM THE ENVIRONMENT AGENCY

April 2012 has seen unusually dry weather for many weeks leading to drought conditions and warnings issued in many parts of the country where Mainstay manages property.

In the last weeks or so, many parts of the UK now seem to be moving from one extreme to the other with intermittent periods of heavy rain in some parts of the UK experiencing up to 50mm of rainfall on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
