Maybeck LLPMaybeck provides a broad range of landlord and tenant support services to Freeholders, Property Investors, Estate Agents, Residents’ Management Companies, Managing Agents, Surveyors and other property professionals. They assist in the delivery of essential and high quality services that cannot be undertaken in house and can provide services anywhere in the UK to ensure compliance.

Services range from Fire and General Risk Assessments to Debt Recovery services, Accountancy and Secretarial services.

Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA)The Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) is the only body in England & Wales to focus exclusively on matters relating to the management of residential leasehold blocks of flats. With over 250 corporate members, of whom Mainstay is one, their founding principal aims are to represent its members and therefore the interests of lessees, resident management companies and investor freeholders.

LEASE
The Leasehold Advisory Service (LEASE) is an Executive Non Departmental Public Body (ENDPB) funded by Government to provide free advice on the law affecting residential leasehold and commonhold property in England and Wales.

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction.

Association of Retirement Housing Managers (ARHM)
The Association of Retirement Housing Managers (ARHM) is committed to high standards and ethics in the management of private retirement and sheltered housing.  Their Code of Practice forms a benchmark for Leasehold Valuation Tribunals in the exercise of their role in relation to the management of retirement leasehold properties.

Financial Services Authority
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) are the independent body that regulates the financial services industry in the UK.  They regulate most financial services markets, exchanges and firms, they set the standards that they must meet and can take action against firms if they fail to meet the required standards

Mainstay is registered with the FSA (No.479886) and are authorised to carry on a regulated activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

Ombudsman Services: Property
The Ombudsman Services: Property (OSP) were originally  set up to handle complaints about members of RICS, but now also assist in the resolution of complaints about chartered surveying firms, surveyors, estate agents, residential managing agents and other property professionals from consumers using their services.

They have been approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) as an estate agent redress scheme, and the Association of Residential  Managing Agents (ARMA) made it a requirement for its members to belong to an ombudsman scheme and recommended Ombudsman Services: Property.

The Real Service Best Practice Group
The Real Service Best Practice Group is a benchmarking and best practice group of member organisations (of which Mainstay is a member) who are dedicated to helping the real estate industry improve customer service and generate improved property performance.   The Group’s benchmarking programme enables members to confidentially compare their customer service performance with best practice.

ANUK
ANUK is a network of professionals and organisations that promotes accreditation in private rented residential accommodation. Mainstay is an active member of ANUK/UNIPOL sponsored Code of Standards for larger student accommodation providers and we were the first provider in the UK to have our development inspected under this standard and have met or exceeded the standards in all respects.
