Mainstay wins Property Management Company of the Year 2009 Award.

Ten members of the Mainstay team attended the News on the Block (NOTB) Property Management Awards 2009 dinner in London on 7th of December to celebrate being shortlisted as finalists in three categories.

On the night we were proud winners of the 'Regional Property Management Company of the Year 2009', awarded to property managers outside London.

Judges commented that they were impressed with Mainstay's partnership approach and their commitment to acting on behalf of collective communities and not the agenda of individuals.

Pedro Louro received a 'Highly Commended' award for Concierge/Porter of the Year, for his role as concierge at the prestigious Queen Mary's scheme in Roehampton, managed by Mainstay on behalf of St James Homes. His customer focus and absolute commitment to delivering exemplary service were noted by the judges.

Mainstay Property Manager, Gillian Stanley, was also a shortlisted finalist for 'Regional Property Manager of the Year'.

David Clark, Managing Director commented "This is a proud moment for Mainstay who fought off considerable competition, and these awards represent a recognition of the hard work of all our staff to deliver services that exceed the standards generally achieved in this sector"

All the entries were independently judged by a panel comprising Georgiana Hibberd, Associate Director, RICS Residential Professional Group, Bob Smytherman, Chairman, Federation of Private Residents Associations and Andrew Teacher, Media Manager for the British Property Federation. The Independent Judging Panel was carefully selected to include a representative from each of the stakeholder interests within a block of flats: the owner-lessees, landlords and managing agents.
